Sunshine and Lollipops!!

Well we have the sunshine, no lollipops though. What great weather we have been having these past couple of days. It's suppose to be in the 90's this weekend. A bit too hot for my taste. Leave it to us PacNW people who are never satisfied.

We are hitting some milestone with the kids this coming week. Sharrah is turning one on the 30th. I can't believe that she is a year already. We are having a party for her on the 28th with a yummy costco cake and icecream. Lots of friends and family are coming.

Then we have our annual 4th of July party on the 4th. Sounds like this one will be a bit smaller then in years past because lots of people have made other plans. One of these years I would like to make other plans too. It sure gets stressful having all those people here and also worrying about whether your house is going to catch fire. At least this year the gutters are clean though.

Next, on the 5th of July, our little man turns 6 months old. My baby is growing up. Makes me sad. Pretty soon he will have teeth and be chomping on my boobie. Owie!! He is already sitting on his own and rolling over. He loves sweet potatoes but isn't so fond of green beans. He loves to have Swiper lick his hands, Sharrah does too. Weirdos.

Our children are officially spoiled. Oh well. I don't think they know it yet and that is good. Pretty soon we are going to have to have a cry it out session with David. We need to get him to sleep on his own. Hard habit for mommy because I love to cuddle with him. Sigh.....

My Little Loves...

Ok, so officially Sharrah is 9 months old now. David will be 3 months old on the 5th. Crazy...times flies....I think I say this in every blog. Sharrah has 2 teeth now, both on the bottom and both very sharp. They drew blood on Jared's thumb....OUCH!!

The weather the past few days has been beautiful, we're hoping to make it to the park tomorrow and let Sharrah try out the swing for the first time. I bet she will love it. We will take pictures.

The past few days Sharrah has been a blast! She is so giggly and loves to be tickled and is getting such a great personality. If she isn't happy, however, she lets you know it. Screaming...let me tell you!! She really likes Kix cereal, and I even let her try some Lucky Charms...she didn't show any preference. She is getting very good at feeding herself finger foods. She is getting so big it's amazing.

As for David...he is getting to be such a chunk. It's amazing that breastmilk can do that! Most of his 3 month size clothes are too small. He is pretty much all in 6 month size clothes. I guess he is taking after his Daddy. He gets his sneezes from me though. We both sneeze a lot. I hope he doesn't get allergies. He is getting pretty stable with holding his head up, and actually will try and sit upright when he is leaning against you. It's amazing.

Needless to say we love our little bugs!!

Oh little David....isn't he so cute!! He is wearing his new Easter outfit in size 3-6 months. He is a very big fellow for his age. At last doctor appt. when he was 2 months he was 14lbs and 24.5 inches tall. Taking after his Daddy.

David is so funny. He hates being naked. You change his diaper and he screams, you give him a bath and he screams. But as soon as he is covered back up, all is good with the world. He is starting to smile while he is awake now. They are still kind of half smiles and are so cute. When you are looking at his face you can tell when he finds something humorous. I can't wait for him to actually smile at me. One that says, "Hey, I know you're my mom and I'm happy to see you!"

Sharrah is the cutest little girl ever. She loves everything and everyone. She is starting to get leary of strangers, and she cried when my Dad came over, but that is typical of all his grandchildren I think. (You shouldn't be so scary Dad!!) She is getting better at rolling over and we practice everyday. She is very good at sitting up and we are just waiting for some teeth to show up!
